rya keelboat instructor course…

A real treat for the last 5 days. I have been out at the INSS supporting 6 students through their RYA Keelboat Instructor Course. It is a real change to have 6 adults on a course, all with careers and life experiences that most 16 - 18 year olds don’t have yet! We have had great fun exploring the effective delivery of sessions and giving useful/meaningful feedback to support new and improving students on their sailing journey. We also took the opportunity to further develop personal sailing skills on the j80’s. We have used kites and electric outboards to upskill and keep a few steps ahead when teaching! Thanks to everyone at the INSS for their help during the week. A truly magic place to sail and learn. See you Easter 2027!
